Cinna's Poem

Thou world dost end,
For thou Caesar has been taken,
My heart shall not mend,
For thou Caesar has been taken,

So noble and kind,
Romans will lose their peace of mind,
Caesar was O so great,
How could this be his fate?

Rome is crying,
It's people are dying ,
For Caesar was Rome ,
Now no peasant would call it home,

My heart shall not mend,
For thou Caesar has been taken,
For I was the lost horse,
And Caesar acted as the instinct
That guided me to the holy water source,

I am now the lost horse once more,
Not caring for threatening hungry boar's,
I say "Let them have my head",
For I would rather be with Caesar instead.

Diary of a Commoner

This day was full of excitement. I went to the races, wearing my finest apparel, and was greatly looking forward to hearing the great and noble Caesar speak. I adore Caesar and I have never met a decent ho who didn’t. I would bet that most of the people there were there for Caesar. After the race Caesar spoke. As soon as he came on sight the crown erupted in cheers, I cheering the loudest, of course. When he started to speak everyone went dead silent, wanting to hear each word that he speaks. Caesar spoke of the peace and triumph of Rome. He is so righteous and incredible he speaks like god himself! To make the day even better, after Caesars speech he was offered the crown, but he refused it! The crowd went erratic when he was offered it, to show their support, but went ever crazier when he refused it! It was offered and refused twice more! Each time the crowd cheering louder. It’s so comforting to me to know that Caesar is not power crazed. I think he cares about Rome, and its people. I think Caesar would be a great ruler; I would proud to be ruled by him.

An Amazing Book

About the Author : My book is called Generation Dead and the author is Daniel Waters. He has written only one other book, that is mentioned anywhere on the internet, which is the sequel to Generation Dead called A Kiss of Life. Daniel also used to write screenplays and even directed movies.
Baisic Plot: Generation Dead is about a girls life at a high school where there are living dead people. Phoebe and her best friend Margi are not popular at all. They are considered weird, gothic girls by most people. When a zombie, named Tommy, tries out for the school football team madness erupts from the whole school. Then when Tommy asks Phoebe out on a date things start to get even weirder. Phoebe convinces her good friend Adam (who has a secret crush on her) and Margi to join a Differently-biotic (living dead) group at school. Where they talk with the zombie’s at meetings and work in a place where some of them live and are studied. When they start to become friends with the zombies they are put on a major hit list for the Pain Crew of the school. People are killed for the second time….and accidents happen.
Setting: The book takes place in the U.S in the Tri-State area. From Septenber-June (one school year) in the present day time except that its in a world where dead teenages come back to life, but as zombies. The atmospgere of the story is exciting because you never know what is going to happen next, and also a bit sad because it talks about how all these people died and how bad their "life" is now that they are a zombie.
Protagonist: Phoebe, the main character of the novel is extremely brave. She agree's to go out with a zombie, whom she known nothing about, and she stays in the Differently Biotic group at school even after she know everyone in it will get a visit form the Pain Crew. Phoebe is also a very kind person. When a zombie friend of her's is sitting alone at lunch she drags Margi with her to go sit with the zombie and when Margi is upset (which she is a lot) Pheobe is always there to comfort her.
My review: I have already finished the book and i enjoyed it so much i'm starting to read the sequel to it. I liked it because it was unique and exciting. It wasn't scary, so i liked that because i hate scary things, and it was just a really funny, enjoyable read.
